Joel McMahon, Partner
Joel McMahon is a Founding Partner of Three Point Capital as well as MacLoud Investment Company. In addition, he is the Chairman and CEO of Jay Industrial Repair in Birmingham. He also is a member of the Pleiad Foundation, a family foundation that supports charities, non-profits and educational entities primarily in Central Alabama.

Joel is active in the Birmingham Business Alliance (BBA), which promotes economic interests of Birmingham and the surrounding metro area and serves on their executive committee. Joel also serves on the President’s cabinet at the University of Alabama and is an avid fan of all things Alabama – particularly golf, basketball and football

Thomas McMahon, Partner
Thomas McMahon graduated from the University of Alabama with a degree in Finance. He later earned a Graduate Certificate in Business Analytics from the University of Denver, further developing his skills in data analysis and strategic decision-making.

Thomas began gaining professional experience in the summer of 2018 as a Strategic Planning Intern with the University of Alabama Athletic Department. From August 2022 to May 2026, he served as Corporate Compliance Coordinator at Jay Industrial Repair, where he was responsible for ensuring the organization’s operations, policies, and procedures aligned with applicable regulations and internal standards. In this role, he also contributed to improving company efficiency by adapting and enhancing the company’s quality program.

Outside of his professional career, Thomas is passionate about the outdoors and University of Alabama athletics. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Kate, as well as fly fishing, hunting, and golfing.

Bryant McMahon, Partner
Bryant McMahon graduated from the University of Alabama with a degree in Sport Management. He also worked as a Student Manager for the men’s basketball program during the 2020-21 season.

Bryant gained career experience interning for Precision Coil and Rotor in the summer of 2018, as well as with the St. John’s men’s basketball program in the summer of 2023. From January 2025 to June of 2026 he worked At Jay Industrial Repair as a Corporate Compliance Coordinator. While working there he helped build field service reports, as well as making sure the organization was compliant with all government regulations and business requirements. While at Jay Industrial Repair, Bryant also helped to implement new company strategies, including the use of online programs to help with safety, efficiency, and the overall enhancement of the company’s quality program.

Carlee Abney holds a Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Business Administration, with a focus in Professional Accounting, from the University of Alabama where she graduated from the Honors College.

Carlee joined Three Point Capital, LLC as a Founding Partner, following a career spent building and managing large-scale investor relationships across private credit and real estate debt. Most recently, she served as Vice President of Investor Relations at a special situation real estate debt fund providing commercial mortgages to borrowers facing niche challenges. There, she solo-managed more than 150 investor relationships representing over $185 million in assets under management, overseeing the full sales cycle from prospecting through closing, onboarding, and due diligence. Earlier in her career, she held investor relations and wealth management roles at Arlington Family Offices and Raymond James, and she has spent seven years as a fitness instructor and sales associate at Three15 Cycle Studio.
